RACHID BOUSKRI

Rachid Bouskri was born April 28, 1977 in an area referred to as Nemero/Ait Assem in the town of Tinjdad, Errachidia.  He has been a painter since he was a little boy when he began to teach himself at the age of six.  As he began to study art more seriously in his teenage years, he found it to be his most useful and illustrative tool in conveying the disparities he has faced throughout his life.  Now, he paints in a small store in his hometown and continues to explore ways to depict daily life in Tinjdad.

Rachid has attended several expositions throughout Morocco in cities including Meknes, Marakesh, Errachidia, Tinghir, and Tangier.  His art is also sometimes displayed in cafés and hotels throughout the Errachidia province.  Moreover, he can almost always be found in his store in Tinjdad where you are welcome to come buy to explore his art and drink some tea.  His store is located on the main road from Ouarzazate to Errachidia/Erfoud about forty kilometers passed Tinghir.  His contact information is as follows:
